Where Seekers Become Scholars

Knowledge. Tarbiyyah. Akhlaq. Excellence.

Dar E Umar (RA) nurtures students of knowledge who not only learn Islam, but live it, embody it and carry it forward.

Welcoming women and girls worldwide through in-person and online Islamic education.

صاحبات العلم والعمل والأخلاق

Women of knowledge, action and beautiful character.

From strong foundations in Arabic and the Islamic sciences to our structured 8-year Aalimiyyah Programme, we combine academic excellence with tarbiyyah, adab and personal growth.

Our aim is to develop knowledgeable, confident and compassionate Muslim women — mothers, teachers, professionals and future educators — grounded in the Qur’an and Sunnah and prepared to serve Islam and their communities.

Our identity

A House of Learning

The golden roof of our emblem shelters an open book — representing Dar E Umar (RA) as a home of knowledge, tarbiyyah and growth.

From a student’s first steps in Islamic learning through to advanced study, our aim is not simply to teach knowledge, but to help students understand it, live it and allow it to shape their character.

Discover our story

Knowledge is not simply studied; it is understood, lived and reflected in character.

Learning Without Borders

Islamic Education, Wherever You Are.

At Dar E Umar (RA), our doors extend beyond the walls of our classrooms.

Through our online classes, we welcome women and girls from across the world, making structured Islamic education accessible to those balancing motherhood, employment, university and family responsibilities.

Whether studying locally or joining us online, students are encouraged to participate actively, develop strong academic foundations and grow in knowledge, tarbiyyah and akhlaq.

Distance may separate our classrooms, but our commitment to knowledge, character and excellence remains the same.

Our approach to tarbiyyah

Beyond the Books

At Dar E Umar (RA), not every lesson comes from a book.

Our curriculum gives students a strong academic foundation, but we believe Islamic education extends far beyond the classroom.

Through companionship, service, discussion, educational activities, Anjumans, retreats, trips and opportunities for worship and reflection, knowledge moves from the page into a student’s character and daily life.

  • Companionship

Learning alongside teachers and fellow students who share the same aim.

  • Service

Putting knowledge to work for families and the wider community.

  • Discussion & activities

Talking ideas through and learning together in ways that bring lessons to life.

  • Anjumans

Student gatherings that build confidence in speaking and sharing what they learn.

  • Retreats & trips

Time together away from the classroom to learn, bond and reflect.

  • Worship & reflection

Opportunities to worship, remember Allah and reflect together.

Testimonials

Our Community, Their Voices

More Than Education. A Journey of Growth.

At Dar E Umar (RA), we believe the true measure of Islamic education is not simply the knowledge a student acquires, but how that knowledge shapes their character, strengthens their faith and influences the way they live.

Through dedicated teachers, meaningful relationships, academic guidance and compassionate tarbiyyah, we strive to create an environment where students feel valued, supported and inspired to grow.

We are grateful to share the experiences of those who have been part of this journey.

Every student is more than a name on a register. Every achievement is more than a grade. And every step towards Allah is worth nurturing.
